About
The Debunkers is Georgia College’s official Sociology Club! Our goal is to help all Georgia College students learn to think sociologically about current events and create cohesion among sociology majors and interested non-majors.
We provide academic support and opportunities for students to connect through social gatherings and engaging events. Throughout the year, The Debunkers organize film screenings, sponsor nationally renowned speakers and GCSU faculty, and create opportunities to explore sociological topics beyond the classroom through service events with community partners.
Whether you’re a sociology major or simply interested in sociology, The Debunkers is the place to learn, connect, and get involved!
