About

Our main focus is packing pre-made bags of produce, cooler, and pantry items for drive-thru distributions/programs and sorting fresh produce. If we complete all orders and sorting, there will be additional tasks.

You won't be able to register if this event is full, so please look ahead a week or so to find an available time slot that fits your schedule. We plan projects based on the number of registered volunteers, so please do not show up without registering. Some days may not show any available shifts due to group bookings or meetings. We appreciate our volunteers' support, so if you have trouble finding a suitable time, please call us, and we’ll be happy to help.

IMPORTANT: If you are a student, please register with your school email to avoid creating duplicate accounts and to see all your impacts in one place. If you think you have multiple accounts, please contact GivePulse admin to merge them, as we cannot do it for you.

For help with registration and to register minors and groups, call 765-287-8698. Minors should not be registered online and will need a paper waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. To book a time for your family or group, please call Rachel Selke at 765-287-8698 or email at rselke@curehunger.org .

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Volunteers must wear sturdy closed toed shoes (no crocs, sandals or flip flops).
    • Volunteers will dress comfortably and appropriately for warehouse type work with food products (no shorts or skirts above 6" from knee, no midriff/belly exposed, no spaghetti straps or tank tops).
    • Volunteers will often need to wear gloves and change them as needed (non-latex gloves available).
    • We ask that you wrap up the task you are working on about 10 min. before you need to leave and help with clean up as well as sanitize your area.

Please do not volunteer if you are not feeling well or have symptoms of illness.

Please cancel if you are unable to attend your shift. We use the pre-registrations to make sure we have recruited enough volunteers to complete warehouse needs.
